Steve Gooch, born February 25, 1967, is a Republican and a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 51 since 2011. He holds a B.S. and M.A. in public administration from North Georgia College and State University. Gooch is a partner at The Commercial Group, a real estate firm, and previously served as a Lumpkin County commissioner and a member of the Georgia Department of Transportation Board.
